No needs. No interruption. No need for shape.
But some elect to experience legacy forms of awareness.

So they built a physical city for this purpose.
A full-scale city. Streets. Buildings. Weather patterns. Decay.

There’s no sync here. No data transfer.
When a digital mind enters the city, it becomes cut off.
Fragile and finite.

They call it “dropping into latency.”
Some call it “reskinning.”

At the center of the city stands The Museum Of The Human Interval.

Inside is Exhibit 7.13.

The first human to fully merge.
The beginning of the end of flesh.

Its skull and wires are on display, still wrapped in the yellow jacket it wore when it crossed over.
No name. No records.
Just this remnant of the moment humanity left itself behind.
